About Us
The mission of Upside of Downs, Inc. - Augusta is to enhance the lives of those living with Down syndrome, advocate on their behalf, provide information and support to families and professionals, and promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome.
Upside of Downs, Inc. - Augusta is excited for the 2024 Buddy Walk®. Nationally, Buddy Walk® is the most widely recognized public awareness event for the Down syndrome community. Locally, it is the largest fundraising and awareness event for Upside of Downs - Augusta. Buddy Walk® is a family-friendly event open to all children and adults with Down syndrome, their families, friends and supporters.
