At Down Syndrome Advocates in Action NE, our mission is to support, equip, and empower Nebraska families navigating life with Down syndrome. We’re your guide, providing tools, resources, and encouragement every step of the way.

The Buddy Walk, established by the National Down Syndrome Society in 1995, is our biggest awareness and fundraising event of the year. Every dollar raised goes directly to support programs, services, and scholarships that empower families across Nebraska.
Together, we can build a world where every person with Down syndrome is seen, celebrated, and supported.

Registration is now open!
Sign your team up today by clicking the REGISTER button! Once you have registered, you'll be able to create and customize your team's fundraising page and invite your friends and family to donate to your team and join you! Getting started is as simple as 1, 2, 3...
1. Sign Up
Click on the REGISTER button to register online and select your desired registration level(s). All participants are required to accept the terms and conditions of the waiver before completing the registration form.
2. Create Your Online Fundraising Page
After you register, customize your personal fundraising page by setting your fundraising goal, sharing your story and reason for walking, uploading pictures and changing colors of your page. You can even create a Facebook fundraiser directly from your fundraising page! As you invite people to join your team, they'll be able to create their own individual fundraising pages that will roll up to your team page.
3. Spread the Word!
Once you've personalized your fundraising page, it's time to get the word out and ask your circle to donate and join your team! You can share your team's page with your network via personalized emails inviting them to support you. Don't forget to get social! We highly recommend posting updates on your personal page as a fun and simple way to share your story with your donors and get your network involved!

Buddy Walk Yard Signs
Registered VIP's can use this link to submit a photo for a Buddy Walk yard sign to be made and displayed along the Buddy Walk route. Submit a photo by June 5th so there is sufficient time to get the yard signs made.

Every Dollar Makes a Difference
Even a Small $10 Donation can go a long way.
At Down Syndrome Advocates in Action Nebraska, we work daily to make sure individuals with Down syndrome are included in their communities. Small donations can be used to go to the movies, provide snacks at our Next Chapter Book Club, or be added to other donations to provide a scholarship for a local, regional or national conference.
