Day 6 Patriot Challenge VetSTAR Daily Fitness Challenges presented by @mgmthelawfirm:

1. Workout. 50 pushups, 50 situps, and 50 squats. Go at your own pace, but make sure you challenge yourself!

2. Meditation 5 mins - watch this video for guided assistance.

Day 5 - May 5

1. Watch Admiral Ret. William McRaven's 2016 University of Texas commencement address. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yaQZFhrW0fU

2. Inspire and do something great no matter how small. Go for a 10 Minute walk, bring a small trash bag and wherever you are walking the goal is to leave it better than you found it!

3. Write a thank you letter to someone that you are grateful for and who has impacted you in a positive way.

Day 4 - May 4

1. Go for a mindful 10-minute walk or light jog in nature or your neighborhood. Use this time to reflect on your purpose and direction in life.

2. Broaden Your Horizons: Sign up for a new class, it could be a workout, painting, drawing, anything to get you out of your comfort zone.

Day 3 - May 3

2. Watch this video on the mindset of Kobe Bryant. Write down the 1 thing that stuck out most and how you can apply it to your life. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSceuiPBpxY

3. Take a Hike: Find a local trail or park and go for a 20-minute walk.

1. Write down your favorite quote and put it where you will see it daily. On your car dashboard, on your bathroom mirror, on your desk, etc.

2. The Thursday 10: 1 x Round of 10 Body weight squats, 10 Pushups (Substitute with desk pushups if need be, lean on your desk and execute pushups), 10 Chair dips, 10-second Plank.

Day 1 - May 1

Challenges:

Set the tone for the month and Patriot Challenge.

Take the GallantFew Azimuth Check for an initial baseline for your functional fitness. Save your password. We will do an azimuth Check at the close of the Patriot Challenge to see how far you have come!

Set aside 10 minutes in the morning to center yourself and reflect on your objectives for the week. Write them down to stay on track throughout the week.

Watch this video on the mindset of Tom Brady. Write down the 3 key aspects that you took away from the video and how you can apply them to the week, and the month of patriot challenge.

Get outside after dinner and go for a 10-minute walk.
