If You Dare: Event Info
Race organizers will provide a central aid tent stocked with water, limited snacks, and a small heat source—just enough to keep you moving. In the afternoon and evening on Saturday, hot food may be available for purchase, but make no mistake: your nutrition is your responsibility. Fail to plan and the course will chew you up.
Important Notice:
Team Foster enforces a strict NO PETS policy. We understand your bond with your dog—we feel the same. But for the safety of all participants and respect for those with service animals, do not bring your pet.
Where is LPS taking place? Conshohocken, Schuylkill River Trail. Exact site set up is being confirmed shortly and we will have that information to release as soon as we have it ready.
Is fundraising required? There is no mandatory fundraising minimum, but every participant will receive a personal fundraising page if they would like to support Team Foster.
How are racer camp spaces assigned? Camp placement is earned. Staging spaces are assigned in the order of registration—the sooner you commit, the closer you’ll be to the start/finish line, where every hour begins... and many end. Hesitate, and you’ll find yourself further from the action—and possibly further from survival.
What is your refund, transfer, or deferral policy? Events like the Last Person Standing Challenge demand relentless time, energy, and year-round planning to deliver the grueling experience you're signing up for. For this reason, all registrations are final— no refunds will be issued.
Due to the rapid sell-out rate and the fact that staging areas are assigned based on registration order, we are also unable to offer registration transfers. When you sign up, you're claiming a spot in something brutal, rare, and unforgiving—make sure you're ready.
Can I change my camp space to be next to a friend? We may be able to shift your camp space to be closer to a friend—if we receive your request early enough. But understand this: no changes are guaranteed. If a move is possible, it will be backward in placement, never forward. No one jumps the line. Choose wisely, and act fast.
Sleeping Accommodations: Unfortunately, we cannot host camping at the race venue the night before the race. Racers and spectators may stay for the duration of the event on the racers’ assigned camp spaces.
Weather Information for December in Philly! Expect daytime temperatures anywhere between 40 and 50 degrees and overnight lows around 30 degrees.
Are there age restrictions for this event? While we do not have age restrictions in place, we ask that you use your discretion. We require that any minors who sign up have an adult on site throughout the duration of their run.
Are spectators allowed? Yes, Their energy fuels the brave. Their presence haunts the fallen. Bring your people. Let them watch what unfolds when the clock starts—and doesn’t stop.
Can I bring my camper/RV? No. Unfortunately we cannot allow campers or RVs at the race venue.
Are pacers allowed? Pacers are not allowed in the backyard ultra format. Racers may not receive any aid whatsoever between the start and finish lines, except for what they can carry on their person as they complete each lap.
