About Central Park:
As the biggest natural area in Manhattan, the park is an essential stop for spring and fall migrants seeking rest and food for the next leg of their journey. In his role as Urban Biodiversity Specialist, Tod conducts bird surveys at several high-profile green spaces across the city including Madison Square Park and the Javits Center green roof.  As one of NYC Bird Alliance's birding guides, he teaches the NYC Bird Alliance's Beginning Birding course and leads walks and trips around the city including the popular spring Birding by Ear series.
