T-shirt pick up will be at the Waccamaw Medical Park East, Suite 104, Murrells Inlet and will be held on October 2nd, 3rd & 4th from 10am – 4pm, as well as the day of the walk. There will be no t-shirt pickup on October 5th or 6th.

WHAT IS THE IN THE PINK BREAST CANCER AWARENESS WALK?

The In the Pink Breast Cancer Awarenss Walk is a fundraising event for the Tidelands Health Breast Care Fund, which started back in October 2006. The Tidelands Health Foundation held the first walk with around 200 participants. The walk was established to help provide free mammography services for individuals without financial resources or government assistance. Today, we have nearly 1,300 registered walkers and more than 1,500 participants who support the Breast Care Fund, which is part of the Tidelands Health Cancer Care Network.

HOW LONG IS THE WALK?

The walk is a little over 2 miles round trip.

HOW WILL I GET MY T-SHIRT?

T-shirt pick up will be held on Monday, October 2, Tuesday, October 3 and Wednesday, October 4, as well as the day of the walk.

There will be no shirt pick up on October 5 or 6 due to event preparations.

DO I RECEIVE A T-SHIRT WITH MY DONATION?

No. T-shirts are for registered walkers only, but you will receive a tax donation letter.

IS THERE A GUARANTEE I’LL GET THE T-SHIRT SIZE I WANT?

Walk t-shirts are available on a first-come, first-served basis. T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed.

IF I REGISTER AND THEN DECIDE I CAN’T DO THE WALK, CAN I GET A REFUND?

Registration fees are a donation to the Tidelands Health Foundation Breast Care Fund, so no refunds or discounts will be issued. We are grateful for your support!

IF SOME OF MY TEAM MEMBERS REGISTER USING THE PAPER FORM, WILL THEY SHOW UP ON MY TEAM PAGE ONLINE?

Only team members who register online will automatically show up on your team page.

I HAVE CHILDREN WHO WANT TO PARTICIPATE. DO I REGISTER THEM?

Please register children 13 years and older to receive a t-shirt.

HOW DO I ADD AN OFFLINE DONATION?

You'll need to contact us using the phone number or email address below to arrange to have the payment sent to the foundation and to have it recorded on the walk page.
