Shelter 5K Run/Walk 4 Kidz

• Race morning registration and packet pick up will open at 8:00am
• 5K Walk/Run starts promptly at 9:00am
• Kidz Dash at 10:30am
• Music all day by Keith Christopher Entertainment Group

LOCATION

Busse Woods GROVE 5 in Elk Grove Village: Enter @ BUSSE WOODS SOUTH, off Higgins Road, just west of Arlington Heights Road. Course map pictured below.

• PARKING is FREE
• Bathrooms are available
• For the safety and comfort of all participants, we ask that you leave your pets at home.

FOOD & WATER

There will be one water station on the course and one at the start/finish line.

Food to be served throughout the day:

• Fresh fruit
• Cookies from Jarosch Bakery
• Pizza from Rosati’s care of Richard & Mary Kay Baldino

FOR THE KIDZ

• There will be a Kidz Dash at 10:30am with medals for participants.
• There will be a Kidz activity tent with crafts, face painting, and more!
• Elk Grove Fire Department/EMT will be on site from 9:30-10:30am with a FIRE TRUCK!!!

SAFETY

Race will follow all CDC safety guidelines. If you have a fever, are feeling ill or have been in recent contact with someone unrecovered from COVID-19 (WE WILL MISS YOU!) but please do NOT come to the event.
