Welcome to the Dr. Yomi Desert Classic Foundation, where golf meets mentorship to inspire and empower youth. Through the game of golf and guided support, we help young people build confidence and develop essential life and leadership skills that prepare them for a lifetime of opportunities, experiences, and challenges.

The Dr. Yomi Desert Classic (DYDC) was born in 2021, when Dr. Yomi invited a group of friends to the Coachella Valley for a weekend of golf and comradery. What began as a casual gathering quickly turned into a meaningful mission to give back to the community.

The DYDCF selected First Tee - Coachella Valley (FTCV) as our main charitable partner, and since then, our impact has grown significantly.

By the conclusion of DYDC 2025, held in June at Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wisconsin, we proudly surpassed $575,000 in donations to FTCV — and we’re just getting started; the DYDCF has now elected to support more organizations that align with our mission.
