Latest Update: The weather will be perfect! Online registration closes at 2 PM Thursday September 25, however you can register in person during the early shirt pickup window Thursday and Friday from 5 to 7 pm at The Colonies Church of Christ at 4500 Wesley in Amarillo, as well as at the Registration table 9 AM Saturday.  You will also get your wristbands while checking in at Registration.  All people who want to participate at the Buddy Walk must register to receive a wristband that provides access to our food and event areas and help ensure we can thank everyone that joins us.  It is also a safety measure.

The PDSG Buddy Walk® is a 1/2 mile (optional) walk around Sam Houston Park that turns into Amarillo’s best festival of the year. This year, as always, registration starts at 9 AM and the Buddy Walk® begins at 10 AM after announcements.

During the event, you can enjoy:

• free food

• music

• face painting

• bouncers and slides

• silent auction

• bungee jumping machine

• petting zoo hosted by the Highland Park ISD FFA program

• and much more!

As a special treat, public service heroes will be onsite with their equipment for you to see or explore, including a fire department truck, bomb squad equipment, police cruiser, and ambulances.

All teams that raise at least $1,000 by September 17 will receive a custom Team Sign to proclaim your success.

2025 Theme 🏝️

This year our theme is Hawaiian Paradise and we will be dressed in our favorite Hawaiian shirts, Muumuus, or play clothes because we will also be learning how to rope a calf, ride a bull, and eating some great BBQ, hamburgers, and hotdogs. The party lasts until 1 PM.

This is the most fun you can have in a park that is legal, and is perfect for all ages. Everyone is welcome!
