Throw for More – Participant FAQ

What is Throw For More?

Throw For More is a one-day global fundraising event where disc golfers play as many holes as possible while raising money for the Paul McBeth Foundation. Sponsors pledge a set amount per hole played, or make a flat donation, and all proceeds go toward expanding access to disc golf in underserved communities.

In addition, for every round completed within the UDisc App, UDisc will donate $0.10 to the Paul McBeth Foundation! Let's join together to help break the previous record of 124,000 rounds recorded in a single day.

When will prizes be shipped?

We are coordinating and shipping prizes over the two weeks following September 20th. Please be patient as some items are still being produced or delivered to us. We’ll get everything packaged and in the mail as soon as possible—thank you for your support and understanding!

Saturday, September 20, 2025 — the final day of summer!

This global event is all about one last big push to make an impact before summer ends. Wherever you're playing, your rounds will count based on your local time zone, as tracked by UDisc.

Where can I play?

Anywhere! Play at your favorite local course, with your club, or during a tournament. Just be sure to log your holes in your participant dashboard and have fun.

What does it cost to participate?

There’s no entry fee to participate. All we ask is that you do your best to collect pledges or donations through your personal fundraising page.

Can people sponsor me per hole or just donate a flat amount?

Both! Donors can pledge per hole (e.g., $0.25 or $1 per hole), or give a flat donation of any amount.

How are the number of holes tracked?

On the event day, you'll receive an email asking you to input the number of holes you complete in your participant dashboard. From there, the fundraising platform will process the donations you've secured.

What time zone is used to track rounds on September 20th?

UDisc tracks rounds based on your local time zone. So no matter where you’re playing in the world, any round you complete on September 20th in your local time will count toward the total.
