My Mission

I walk for my son, Jashaud — or Shaudy, as we call him — who suffered a traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury in a car accident at just 20 years old. He is now a quadriplegic, and every day he continues to fight and defy the odds.

I created Team Shaudy Strong to honor his strength and to show that he’s never alone. Our team represents love, hope, and the power of community.

Seeing our family and friends walk beside us means the world. Their support reminds us that we are not alone on this journey.

Brain injury affects the whole family. It’s a long road of healing and adapting, but we move forward together.

We walk for Jashaud. We walk for every survivor. We walk for hope. We are team Shaudy Strong — and we’re not giving up. I'm excited to join this incredible initiative! The Brain Injury Alliance's mission is very important to me and my family. I’m proud to help them make a difference, and keep their FREE services and supports available to all who can benefit from them. Please support me by giving to my page. Every dollar counts! Thank you.
