Item description
Founded in 1897; Skokie Country Club's golf course stands as a Midwest treasure with elite level green complexes; a healthy dose of history; and a routing that features great variety. The original 18-hole course was designed by Tom Bendelow in 1904 and redesigned by Donald Ross in 1914 to such a fine degree it was selected to host the 1922 U.S. Open in which Gene Sarazen won the first of his seven major championships beating runners-up John Black and Bobby Jones each by one stroke. Skokie Country Club also hosted the 1909 Western Open; 1910 Women's Western Amateur; 1952 Women's Western Open; 1983 USGA Amateur Stroke Play Qualifying; 1998 U.S. Senior Amateur; 2010 Western Amateur and the 2017 Western Amateur.
Restrictions: Tuesday - Thursday in August, September, or October.
Caddies will be on-site and required for the group.
