Fans are critical to the roller derby community - bringing spirit and enthusiam to the track. As the fan base continues to grow, so too does the need for larger venues. Today roller derby games are hosted in sports facilities, on basketball courts, at local gyms, and skate rinks. Unfortunately, many facilities have concerns about wheels on the floor or have an image of the “old” style roller derby. These misconceptions make it challenging for many leagues to secure permanent practice facilities or locations to host tournament.
