Bok Tower Gardens is a National Historic Landmark that was dedicated in 1929 as a gift to America from Edward W. Bok, a Pulitzer Prize-winning author, humanitarian, and advocate of world peace. The mission of the Gardens is to share with the public Edward Bok's gift of a beautiful and serene garden of design, architecture, music, and conservation, so that all who visit may be inspired by his vision: "Make you the world a bit better or more beautiful because you have lived in it."
