Faris Boukli-Hacene & Kobe

Faris Boukli-Hacene is a 17-year-old senior at Freeman High School. He is a true Renaissance man of music – give him a beat and he will Gene Kelly all over the dance floor. Hand him some drumsticks and he will create his own rhythm for others to dance. He is a connoisseur of all musical genres, so if you need a friend for karaoke – call this young man! Music is the universal language, and Faris is fluent. A friend to all, Faris enjoys all social scenes. He gets cozy for a movie night, or he can rough it outdoors for camping. A true gentleman, Faris is a beloved soul who brings joy to everyone he meets. 

Kobe has been the host of “Kobe in the Morning” on Classic Rock 96.5 for the past four years. While Richmond wakes up with Kobe every morning, listeners in six other cities tune in too! With more than 25 years in radio, his career has taken him from Upstate New York to Pittsburgh, West Palm Beach, and Charleston. Along the way, he’s broadcasted from the Grammy Awards, NFL Kickoff, and even DJ’d for NBC’s The Voice. He’s also had the chance to meet Taylor Swift! Kobe now lives in Richmond with his wife Joanne, their daughter Kyla, and their three dogs.
