47th Annual Rich Stallcup Bird-A-Thon

2025 Team Challenges:

• $500 for any brand-new team

• $500 for the team that identifies the most species of raptors

Marcia Grand’s 2025 Farallones Themed Challenges (open to ALL teams):

• Farallon Fugitive Five - $250 for identifying all of the following: Western Gull, Pelagic Cormorant, California Sea Lion, Common Murre, Black Oystercatcher 

• Fabulous Farallon Fugitives - an additional $500 if you see all of the above plus a Peregrine Falcon and any whale

• Farallon Fantasy Fugitives - and an additional $1,000 if you achieve all of the above AND you see a Pigeon Guillemot

You can submit your list of challenges achieved via this form or email it to birdathon@pointblue.org and a donation bonus will be added to your team's fundraising total.

These challenges were inspired by Rich Stallcup who recorded every living creature he saw during his Bird-A-Thon.
