Bill Strobel was born in Philadelphia and spent his childhood in both Camden and Pennsauken N.J. Strobel learned to paint with oils as a young child while watching his mother. He later studied printmaking, painting and sculpture at Rutgers University. His formal education along with an active interest in graffiti and street art greatly influences the work he does today.

Strobel works predominantly in acrylics and pastels on large scale pieces and murals as well as portraiture and text design. He is a rabid Philadelphia sports fan and has been lucky enough to have created multiple murals for all the teams including all of the artwork in the Lincoln Financial Eagles Pro Shop, 4 city wide murals for the Flyers, and multiple works throughout Subaru Park for the Union.

Additionally his client list includes: Nasdaq, The Philadelphia Stock Exchange, Urban Outfitters, EA Sports (Madden), MTV, US Men’s National Soccer Team, among many others.

He has been a self employed professional artist since 2008 and lives and works in Philadelphia Pa.
