Rackham Reversed and Chili Cook-Off

Play Rackham Golf Course like you've never played it before...backwards!

Play a Reverse Routing of Rackham Golf Course and Support First Tee - Greater Detroit! ⛳

Be one the lucky few to play Rackham Golf Course in reverse! The course will be set up backwards, starting near 18 green, playing to 17 green, 17 green playing to 16 green, etc. This set-up provides some unique and exciting shots. While shortened due to the routing, the greens will not be receptive from most of the approach angles, making a close shot even more exhilarating! Think you and your teammate have what it takes to brave this difficult course set-up? Sign up today!

At First Tee – Greater Detroit, we believe that every kid deserves the chance to build inner strength before the world demands it, to find the joy that comes with feeling confident in their own skin before the world makes it feel impossible, and to access experiences and spaces where personal growth happens. We exist to help kids build the strength of character that will empower them through all of life’s challenges. We do this by using the game of golf to teach kids vital skills and traits such as resiliency, perseverance and self-confidence. Our program works. Studies show that First Tee participants are more confident, do better in school and become engaged community members.

After the first round, participants are free to play until the course closes at 5:00pm! We will provide water, soda, coffee, and everything needed to make a "walking taco" with the chili. Prizes will be awarded to the first place team and chili cook-off winner!
