With our record growth last year, we faced new challenges. We hosted an 800-person blanket event in October leading up to our busiest winter yet and the high usage of our messaging technology temporarily overwhelmed our system.
We implemented a short-term solution involving countless hours of manual labor, but we are in need of a long term fix. To ensure sustainability, we have found a partner who is willing to provide significant upgrades to expand messaging capabilities.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 through this campaign, enabling us to update and improve our video messaging system, cover hosting expenses and sustain our mission of connecting children with the heartfelt messages of their dedicated blanket makers.
