TMS MastCellCon On Tour- Phoenix
Join us in Phoenix, Arizona on October 9th and 10th, 2026 to learn about mast cell diseases and to connect with other members of our community.
Who is this event for?
MastCellCon On Tour is primarily designed for patients living with a mast cell disease, as well as their caregivers and family members. Healthcare providers who treat mast cell disease patients are also welcome and will find value in the educational sessions. Industry attendees may register at the industry rate.
Why are there two events instead of one?
We know that travel is one of the biggest barriers for patients living with mast cell disease. Long flights, unfamiliar food environments, and the physical toll of travel can make attending a single-location conference feel impossible. By bringing MastCellCon On Tour to two cities -- Phoenix in October and Raleigh in November -- we are making it easier for more patients across the country to participate without the added stress of cross-country travel. Both events offer the exact same program, so you won't miss anything by choosing the city that works best for you.
Should I go to both events?
The program is identical at both locations, so attending both is not necessary. Choose the city or date that works best for your schedule, health, and travel situation. That said, if you have a personal reason to attend both -- such as wanting to connect with different regional communities -- you are welcome to register for both events.
Why is this event in-person only?
MastCellCon On Tour is designed around the power of in-person connection. For many patients living with a rare and often isolating disease, being in a room full of people who truly understand what they are going through is meaningful in ways a screen simply cannot replicate. The sessions, breakouts, and informal time over meals are all built around face-to-face interaction. We want this to feel like a community gathering, not a webinar.
We also know that it is hard to give the online participants the same experience as those in person, during a hybrid event. Additionally, the audio-visual costs for hybrid events are extremely expensive and we are trying to make this event as affordable as possible for the community.
Finally, we will be hosting several virtual only events this year. For those that are unable to attend MastCellCon On Tour, there are still a lot of opportunities to participate in online events with TMS in 2026. What are the safety protocols at the venue?
The hotel has agreed to the following safety protocols to help make MastCellCon in Phoenix a safe and enjoyable event for our community:
No carpet cleaning two weeks prior to the events
No air fresheners in meeting rooms, hallways, or lobby
All automatic scent machines for the lobby and public areas will be disconnected at least 24 hours before the meetings
No open scented soaps
Linens in TMS attendee rooms will be laundered with scent-free detergent or vinegar and water, prior and during the event.
How do I book my room?
If you will be staying in the hotel, please our TMS booking link below to book your room to get our group rate, and to ensure that you are placed in a room that is complying with our safety accommodations.
What will be served at meals? Can I eat safely?
We take food seriously -- this is a mast cell disease event, after all. All meals provided are gluten-free, with vegetarian and dairy-free options available. The top 9 allergens will be clearly labeled on all items. A full menu with complete ingredient lists will be emailed to all registered attendees approximately two weeks before each event and will also be available on site.
If you have specific concerns beyond the top 9 allergens, we encourage you to review the ingredient list carefully when it is distributed and reach out to us with any questions before the event. You are welcome to bring your own food to the event. But please let us know if you plan to do that, so we don’t count you in our catering numbers.
Why should we book the hotel with the TMS Booking link?
There are two important reasons for this, one related to the cost of hosting the event and one related to our safety protocols.
Financial considerations: When we organize an event we often have to guarantee that a certain number of rooms will be booked in conjunction with the event. If that number of rooms is not booked, it can lead us to pay higher costs for the venue rental or cause TMS to incur fees.
Safety Considerations: We worked hard with the venue to ensure that safety precautions are followed for our event participants. Using our booking link with the hotel lets them know you are part of our group and that you need to be placed in a room that meets our agreed upon safety requirements.
I need to cancel. Can I get a refund?
We are able to give a full refund for registration fees as long as you cancel by October 1, 2026.
Unfortunately after that date we are unable to offer a refund on registration.
