I painted a waterfall. This piece represents the struggles Special Olympics Colorado athletes face. We start at the very bottom, looking up and seeing how immense the climb is. We wonder if we'll ever measure up.

As we climb the rocky hillside, it's hard—as any amazing journey should be. But along the way, flowers appear, bringing moments of joy and beauty. Those moments are the reason we keep climbing.

When you reach the top, the sunset emerges, and the waterfall calls you to take a leap. It reminds us that with every journey and every accomplishment, there will always be more waterfalls to climb. But what matters most are the moments, the growth, and the joy it took to reach the top. - Savy Overturf
