Worcester Country Club holds a legendary place in golf history as the site of the inaugural Ryder Cup in 1927. It is one of only three courses in the United States—alongside Pinehurst and Hazeltine—to have hosted the Men’s U.S. Open, the Women’s U.S. Open, and the Ryder Cup. Designed by Donald Ross in 1913 and opened with a ceremonial drive by President William Howard Taft, the course is a quintessential Ross masterpiece featuring five challenging par-3s and impeccably conditioned, undulating greens.
