Item description

This framed photograph of Motif #1 captures one of New England’s most recognizable coastal landmarks. Taken by Framingham, MA-based photographer David Jacobs, the image offers a quiet, striking view of the famous red fishing shack in Rockport, MA — often referred to as the "most painted building in America."

Originally built in the 1880s and rebuilt after the Blizzard of ’78, Motif #1 stands as a symbol of Rockport’s fishing history and culture. In this photo, the deep red tones of the shack contrast beautifully with the soft coastal light, and a line of birds along the roof adds a subtle, natural detail.

The photo is 8" x 10," matted, and comes ready to hang in a light wood 12" x 15" frame.

A simple, elegant tribute to a beloved local icon — a perfect piece for lovers of the coast and classic New England scenes.
