Autumn is a wonderful time to explore Acadia National Park and this framed photo from Dave Brown truly captures the essence of the time and place.

Dave spent a few days there a couple years back and was fortunate to have beautiful weather for photography. This photo was taken late one October afternoon at Beaver Pond. Dave was experimenting with different settings, looking for something special. By slowing down the shutter speed, he generated this photograph which has the feel of an impressionist painting with the reflection of the smudged colors in the water.

The photo is 13" x 20" matted, and comes ready to hang in a black 19" x 26" frame.

Dave Brown is a free-lance photographer based in Dover, MA. A mostly self-taught photographer, he focuses on a few areas of interest including landscapes and wildlife, travel photography, local high-school team sports and portraits. Dave’s newest photographic interest is drone photography.
