Pennsylvania-based artist Deborah Meehan has combined her love of graphic design and fine art to design unique and beautiful collages. Years of working in advertising instilled in Deborah a love of layout, design, typography, and the printed page. Now, in her studio in Boyertown, she makes pictures using bits of printed pages as well as scraps of all sorts of other found paper - magazines, newspapers, wrapping papers, tissue papers, and every other type of paper imaginable.

The birds add life and personality to her collages. Their simple shapes and almost endless variety make them perfect for this medium. This collage features the blue indigo bunting, found in eastern North America, parts of the southern US and southern Canada.

The collage measures 5.5." x 8" and the size of the paper is 7.5" x 10".

The colors, creativity, and detailing of every Deborah Meehan collage are simply gorgeous.
