Brian Smith is a Head Golf Professional at Nashawtuc Country Club. Smith was elected to the PGA of America in 2009 and joined the Nashawtuc Country Club professional staff in 2011. Smith transitioned into the game from the financial industry and after working at Fidelity Investments for 10 years, decided to change careers and pursue his passion for the game and, more specifically, teaching. Smith served on the Board of Directors of the New England PGA Assistants’ Association for 5 years and was elected President in 2010. Smith was also a New England PGA Section Teacher of the Year Nominee in 2011 and 2017. Smith's passion for golf and people are what drive him every day.
