One of the Westside's most storied private clubs, Brentwood Country Club traces its origins to 1916 when it opened as the Santa Monica Country Club. The course has been shaped by some of golf's great designers over the decades — William Watson, Max Behr, and most recently Todd Eckenrode of Origins Golf Design, whose 2014 renovation won Golf Inc.'s Renovation of the Year. Set on rolling terrain with barranca-edged fairways and bentgrass greens, the par-71 layout stretches to nearly 7,000 yards and plays as one of Southern California's most demanding private tests.
