SEBCM: Champions for Change
Champions for Change is SEBCM’s national fundraising ambassador program—empowering individuals to turn their personal athletic goals into real impact.
Whether you're running a local 5K, tackling a marathon, racing an Ironman, or riding across your state, Champions for Change gives you the tools, community, and platform to fundraise and advocate for fair access to prosthetic, orthotic, and mobility care.
As a Champion for Change, you don’t just participate—you represent. Participants serve as official SEBCM ambassadors, using their voice, their story, and their movement to raise awareness and drive change so every BODY can access the care they need to reach their starting line.
Together, we’re working to redefine what’s considered “medically necessary” and move closer to a future where movement is recognized as a fundamental part of health—not a privilege.
Movement is a human right. Let's make it one.

So Every BODY Can Move (SEBCM) is a national, disability rights and healthcare movement working to raise the standard of care and revolutionize access to prosthetic and orthotic care. We are modernizing outdated insurance policies so people with limb loss and limb difference can access the prosthetic and orthotic care they need to move, work, pursue physical activity, maintain well-being, and fully participate in life.
SEBCM drives change state-by-state, led by advocates with lived experience and built in partnership with clinicians, researchers, industry leaders, and allies. Together, we are mobilizing grassroots advocates to champion legislative reform that reflects modern medicine, real-world needs, and human dignity.
Our goal is bold and urgent: pass meaningful O&P access legislation for physical activity, well-being, and full participation in life in 28 states by the 2028 Los Angeles Paralympics (28x28), laying the foundation for national reform and a higher standard of care for generations to come.

Every dollar raised supports the infrastructure that makes legislative change possible, including:
- State-based legislative campaigns that raise the standard for people with disabilties
- Training and mentoring a new generation of disability rights advocates
- Coalition building across community members with lived experience, clinicians, allied health professionals, industry partners, and policymakers
- Policy research, fiscal analysis, and technical assistance to advance meaningful reform
- Tools, resources, and national coordination that empower advocates to lead in their own states
This is how systems change.
People organize. Communities build power. Policy follows.
