Participating in Climbing for Change 2026

My Mission

I climbed Kilimanjaro a few years ago with a great group of friends. It was an awesome experience and a lifetime memory. I didn’t think I’d do it again…and then the idea of gathering friends to climb for a cause struck me and motivated me to gather more great friends with the same vision I have of climbing to change lives. We’re all climbing for the cause of young people in sub-Saharan Africa. Every climber on this adventure is funding the cost of their travel, climbing and other logistics - every dollar raised is going direct to the cause of young people in Africa.

The organization we’re funding with donations from this climb is We See Hope. Phil and Wendy Wall founded We See Hope 25 years ago. The founding of WSH is an amazing story of faith, hard work and generosity…. Spend some time clicking through to the website - weseehopeusa.org. You’ll find a solid organization with deep focus on changing and saving lives in remote villages of Africa. Their cause is worth the effort to climb.

Kilimanjaro is nearly 20,000 feet high and is the highest point on the continent of Africa. Much of the work of We See Hope occurs within a few hundred miles of Kili. As a climber, I've committed to working to spread awareness of the need in remote Africa and to raise at least $1 per foot of the climb. In addition to funds raised from others, I’m happily matching the first $20k raised. Help me provide $40,000 for this cause.

I hope you'll support me by making a donation today. Every dollar counts - let's do this!
