Our Mission
Cole Cares Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides financial & emotional support to local families whose loved ones are dealing with cancer. The journey is a long one that often leaves families to do without.
Through a referral program with Bryn Mawr Medical Specialists Associates, patients are referred to us for help with utilities, food, transportation, and medical supplies.
Our Purpose
Our daughter, Nicole Cottone Obenski, was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer in January 2017. Fast forward to April of 2018, after endless rounds of brutal chemotherapy and two major surgeries, Nicole entered remission and was ready to begin her new life.
Tragically, in December of 2018, the disease returned. We witnessed the resiliency of Nicole’s spirit until the very last day when her fight ended on November 12, 2019.
It was a privilege to know Nicole and experience her love. It was equally humbling to see what others did for her in return during her darkest days.
Our purpose is to pay it forward for those facing their darkest days. We look forward to seeing you on April 20, 2024 and continuing her legacy.
