Our Mission
For 26 years, the Colorado Springs Down Syndrome Walk has been a powerful celebration of inclusion and advocacy for people with Down syndrome. It has grown into one of the most recognized public awareness events in our community, bringing together hundreds of participants each year in Southern Colorado.
Our annual walk is a day filled with joy, connection, and purpose. It unites families, friends, and community members in support of individuals with Down syndrome—all while raising essential funds to support the mission of the Colorado Springs Down Syndrome Association (CSDSA).
CSDSA provides vital resources, support, and connection for individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Our programs promote inclusion, celebrate abilities, and offer guidance to parents, caregivers, educators, healthcare providers, and employers—helping to build a more supportive and inclusive community for all.
