DE Down Syndrome Walk & 5K
Raising awareness & strengthening community since 2004
$110Raised of $110,000
What is the Delaware Down Syndrome Walk?
The Delaware Down Syndrome Walk began in 2004 as an opportunity to promote awareness and acceptance for people with Down syndrome. It has grown into a large Family Fun Day featuring an Awareness Loop and timed 5K walk/run. Funds raised from the Delaware Down Syndrome Walk allow us to support families, promote community involvement, and encourage a lifetime of opportunities for people with Down syndrome.
The Delaware Down Syndrome Walk is more than just a walk - it's an event where our community gets to experience why we are all more alike than different!
Glasgow Park. Saturday, October 17th. Be There!
Family Fun Day Registration is FREE!
We believe everyone should have the opportunity to participate in the Delaware Down Syndrome Walk, which is why Family Fun Day registration is free for all participants.
The Walk is the Down Syndrome Association of Delaware's largest fundraiser, providing critical funding for our programs, outreach, advocacy, and family support services throughout the year.
If you're able, please consider making a donation during registration checkout in an amount that is meaningful to you. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps ensure we can continue serving individuals with Down syndrome and their families across Delaware.
*Note: There is a fee for 5K registration, which includes a t-shirt for those registered before Sept. 17. T-shirts for Family Fun Day registrants can be added to your purchase.*
