2026 Regional Special Needs Expo
Assisting families, caregivers, and teachers throughout the circle of life
Our Mission
The Regional Special Needs Expo was created through the vision of a committee dedicated to servicing people with disabilities and their families and caregivers throughout the north central Tennessee region.
Goals of the events include:
1) providing information on resources available in a fun atmosphere;
2) inspiring hope for families through each phase of life by helping them see they are not alone; and
3) empowering families to make the best choices for themselves and the individuals in their care.
The Regional Special Needs Expo was created through the vision of a committee dedicated to serving people with disabilities and their families and caregivers throughout the North Central Tennessee region. Planning committee agencies represented are Special Needs Sports Foundation, The Arc of Cumberland Valley (Project 22), Sumner County Special Needs Collaborative, Hendersonville Parks Department, Mary's Magical Place, and many individuals invested in the lives of those with disabilities. The 2025 Special Needs Expo was very successful with 49 vendors providing resources to over 350 participants. The event is free to all families, caregivers, teachers, and others interested in the special needs community.
