Jackie Diachenko - “Nurse Jackie the Firefighter”

Imagine hearing at the age of 4, your son/daughter has just been diagnosed with cancer.... imagine the devastating heartache that's now about to overtake both you and your family....

Beginning August 4th through August 10th, I will be embarking on a weeklong journey participating in the Maryland Trek....7 days of hiking/biking; starting in the mountains of Ski Wisp and ending in the waters of Ocean City, MD.

As both a nurse and volunteer firefighter, the mission of this organization is very important to me. Every dollar, every cent pledged will go directly to the children's cancer programs associated with Just In Power Kids. - Each day we will honor a local child who has either undergone or is currently undergoing cancer treatment.
