This year I am walking to raise funds to help women like *Tracy and her daughter *Annie. Tracy called one of Lifeline Coalition's life-affirming medical clinics looking to schedule an ultrasound for her daughter Annie. After a positive at-home pregnancy test, Annie made a Telehealth appointment with a mail-order abortion pill provider. She was asked to bring an ultrasound photo to her Telehealth appointment as proof of pregnancy. Tracy wanted to help her daughter as she navigated her unplanned pregnancy, so she contacted Lifeline Coalition's life-affirming medical clinic looking for an ultrasound. The helpline operator informed Tracy that they did not perform or provide referrals for abortions but that their nurse would be happy to meet with her daughter, provide her with an ultrasound to confirm if her pregnancy was viable, and talk with her about her options.

When Annie arrived for her appointment, she confirmed that she wanted to move forward with getting an abortion. Annie’s fears and anxiety about having a baby overwhelmed her. The nurse listened with compassion. When it came time for her ultrasound, Annie felt a mix of emotions but stated she wanted to learn more about abortion. As the nurse began to explain to her what was involved in abortion, Annie passionately stated that she COULD NOT do that! Annie chose LIFE, and her fears lost their power over her. Much to Annie’s surprise, her mother was overjoyed to see her choose LIFE! Determined to support her daughter, Tracy had offered to look for help. When that help ultimately allowed her daughter to choose life, Tracy was relieved.
