You Will Make a Difference

I am running my first marathon, the TCS New York City Marathon. I have run a few ½ marathons and am very excited for this new challenge. I am even more excited to be running to raise funds for the Mark Schonwetter Holocaust Education Foundation. Mark Schonwetter, is a 91 year old Holocaust survivor and my aunt Ann Arnold’s father. I was lucky enough to grow up listening to Mark’s stories about his holocaust survival experience first hand. I could not be prouder of the foundations efforts to help educate todays youth about the Holocaust and about the importance of learning from history and treating everyone, regardless of their faith, with respect and kindness.

I am reaching out to you, my family and friends, for your support. This amazing foundation grants funds to educators nationwide. Enabling them to add Holocaust education to their curriculum, inspiring our youth to create a better, kinder future for all. I hope that you will consider joining me in supporting this important educational effort (and my run) with a donation. Every dollar you contribute makes a difference. I would be incredibly grateful for your generosity.

For everyone that donates, I will be adding your name on my running bib as inspiration.
