I was born with Spina Bifida Myelomeningocele almost 35 years ago. Spina Bifida is the most common permanently disabling birth defect compatible with life in the United States. The Spina Bifida Association of New York State (SBANYS) helps support the estimated 4,000 individuals living with Spina Bifida in our state.
