The Sandpiper Project Arnold

My Mission

Dear friends, family and community members,

My name is Lizzie, a 21-year-old from Corvallis, and I was supported, cared for and blessed by the Ronald McDonald House.I found my way to the Ronald McDonald House in 2019 when I was diagnosed with cancer.  Through many stays during and after treatment, after being welcomed, cared for and loved by all the staff I am able to say I am now cancer free and full of hope and joy for others. Without the comfort and support of the Ronald McDonald House community I know my life and mental health would have been so different.
Now, I am doing my best to pay it forward to more kids in our community. Today, I am asking you to support me by donating, so more local kids with critical illnesses can have a special place for them and their families, at the right time, right moment to help ease their fears and make life easier away from home while in need of medical care.
Through the Sandpiper Project, we’re making quilts and receiving quilts from all over the world to make a difference. Because of your generosity, we've raised awareness and much needed funding this year.
When you purchase a quilt or make a donation, you are making a huge difference. With your donation to RMH Oregon & Southwest Washington, YOU will spread hope to hundreds of local children who need a blessing such as this, care, comfort and love. Kids just like me.
Thank you for your support!

Sincerely,

Liz Arnold and The Sandpiper Project
