There are days when the ride is hard, but there’s nothing more challenging than battling pediatric cancer! Nationally, less than 4% of government research funding is allocated specifically for pediatric cancers.

I'm riding as a parent of a pediatric cancer survivor. In December 2023, my 7-year-old son was diagnosed with embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma. He underwent six months of chemotherapy and completed his treatment in May 2024. It's a long road to recovery, and I'm here to raise awareness and advocate for the families and kids who face this battle each day.

Our team of cyclists in the Cal's Angels Charity Bike Ride help give children and their families strength & courage. We ride to create awareness and to help fund research, because we need more to be done to end pediatric cancer.
