Hi!
It's Lindsey, momma to our angel, Gabriella Rose. In February 2023 I was told that our unborn daughter, Gabriella Rose, had Amniotic Band Syndrome and she would be born without toes on her left foot. Devastated and crying, my best friend Shayla gave me a hug and said "God chose you to be her momma and she is going to be so strong and amazing, even if she doesn't have 5 toes." In that moment, a strength that I didn't know I had was born. In March 2023, at 21 weeks my water broke and I was admitted into the hospital, being told that Gabriella would not survive past a week. Little did those doctor's know that our girl was a FIGHTER! She beat every odd and survived for 4 1/2 weeks. On April 27, 2023 we lost Gabriella Rose. The Amniotic Band Syndrome continued to effect her and she was born without her left leg from her knee down. If our girl was here today, she would be involved with Special Olympics Kansas, an organization that has a huge piece of my heart.
I grew up with a friend having Down Syndrome and almost a decade ago when I had the opportunity to assist with Special Olympics Kansas fundraisers, it was a no brainer!

Now in 2025 I am excited to participate in the Polar Plunge for my girl Gabriella Rose and my Rainbow Miracle Baby, Giuliana Mae (born June 16, 2024) - honoring my strong fighter, Gabriella and showing Giuliana that we will always help others and be strong.
