I’m so grateful to again have the opportunity to take on the amazing adventure of tackling 120-ish miles of Kayaking & Cycling in the Florida Keys to support Survivors in making their Epic comeback. People like me, whose doctor gave them the worst news of their life. People who instead of lying down, punched that doctor in the face, flipped the Grim Reaper the bird and marched forward towards courage and hope and ended up here at the greatest comeback of their lives. I am one of these people, and I am honored to be a part of this group of remarkable souls who when faced with their diagnosis, said "not this time, bitches. Now get out of my way"

Project Athena is an incredible nonprofit that helps survivors of medical or traumatic setbacks live out an adventurous dream as part of their recovery. Each Athena and Zeus (survivors) is gifted a fully funded, multi-day expedition through the financial support of Gods and Goddess (fundraisers like me!).
