Dear Friends & Family,

I’m excited to share that I’m participating, once again, in the 2025 Step UP for Down Syndrome Walk on Saturday, October 25 at Falls Road Park in Potomac, MD—and I’d love for you to join me for the first time or join us again! This will be my 5th year of heading up Team JoJo and the 21st year of this walk!

This walk supports the Down Syndrome Network of Montgomery County (DSNMC). The DSNMC has played a vital role in our family. Raising a child with Down syndrome brings all sorts of new questions, challenges and joys that would be difficult to face alone. What a joy it has been to have a community standing around us. 

I believe so strongly in the community that I am now working for the DSNMC as the New Family and Medical Outreach Coordinator. Did you know that we have already welcomed 8 new babies born with Ds in Montgomery County this year?

I’m walking to celebrate the amazing people with Down syndrome in my life—and to raise funds for the resources and support that help them thrive. You can help by:
