I am running for Project Purple because I want to join their community in the much needed fight to bring more awareness to, fund more research of, and support more patients facing pancreatic cancer.

We were so lucky that our middle daughter, Cora, had the amazing Sue Bergquist as her first preschool teacher. Sue, who we refer to in our home as “The Cora Whisperer,” is a teaching magician who brings such joy, patience, and kindness to her classroom. It turns out that in addition to being a superhero preschool teacher, she is also a cancer fighting badass who is now over six years cancer free since being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and undergoing treatment. I am excited to raise money in celebration and honor of Sue’s accomplishments and to support other patients as they undergo treatment and fund much needed research. We love you, Sue!
