Scott's Mission

I've gotten to know the WOW (W.A.R. on Wheels) team and Cal's Angels through Sammy's Bikes, and cannot be more impressed with and inspired by everyone involved. I rode the last few days of WOW I, and am looking forward to completing the whole WOW IV ride, all 785 miles of it! I've been on many cycling adventures over the past 10 years, but the most important miles for me are the ones that are for a purpose. To be able to raise money for Pediatric Cancer by doing something that I enjoy is a privilege and my mission.

I am a father of 2 sons and grandfather of 3 lovely granddaughters, all cancer free, for which I am extremely grateful. My father was taken from us at an early age by cancer. While this doesn't quite compare to the horror of Pediatric Cancer, my passion for supporting research to find a cure for all cancers has been lifelong.

The WOW team rides to help give the children and their families strength & courage. We ride to create awareness and to help fund research, we need more to be done to end Pediatric Cancer.

Please help us fight the WAR against Pediatric Cancer, any donation is greatly appreciated.

ALL DONATIONS GO DIRECTLY TO PEDIATRIC CANCER RESEARCH. All administrative and support costs for the ride are donated by an amazing and generous donor.

Thank you for supporting WOW IV (W.A.R. on Wheels) The fourth annual event kicking off on August 21, 2022, leaving from Mackinaw City, MI arriving in St. Charles IL on August 27, 2022, for a total of 785 miles.
