This year, I have continued to be part of the Path from Poverty Program in Kenya.

The Kenyan women continue to add new members and purchase new tanks as their neighbors and community members see their success.

This year there was good news, abundant rain fell in several of the areas that were suffering from severe drought, what a blessing for those with tanks. Clean water from the catchment tanks rather than dirty water from ponds and rivers means better health. Fewer hours walking miles to fetch water means more girls are going to school. Truly, water is life for them.

Our walk for water team, Juneau Stepping Out for Water, is ready to help purchase additional tanks to augment the work of the Kenyan women.
