Our family didn't know much of anything about the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) before Oliver's accident on July 1st. It all changed when we found ourselves needing to find somewhere to stay close by Randall Children's Hospital where Ollie received life-saving care. Being far from our home in Las Vegas, we were told to go check out the East Portland Ronald McDonald House, and shortly after that visit, our family moved into our "home away from home". At the Ronald McDonald House, we have a safe, comfortable place to stay, access to meals made with love by volunteers, game rooms and programming - you name it, they provide everything we need and more, totally free of charge for us.

This has been a rollercoaster experience but through it all, our family is so grateful for the Ronald McDonald House. It has been such a blessing. Now, we want to do what we can to give back and support this important mission, as they have and continue to support us.
