About the Fight for Literacy

Since 2013, teams have joined the Fight for Literacy presented by International Paper by hosting a Fight for Literacy Game during their season. Coaching staff and athletes wear #Green4Literacy and call their fans to join the #Fight: raise awareness and funds to support literacy programs in their community. We’re proud to have so many #ChampionsofLiteracy working to provide opportunity through reading to young readers.

Through the Fight for Literacy, over $1 million has been raised to support literacy organizations across the country doing the amazing work of ensuring our nation's kids have the key to be successful in life: Literacy. We are proud to partner with such wonderful institutions that are helping us create more and more #ChampionsforLiteracy so that we can solve the problem of illiteracy in their communities.

Don't see your favorite team below but want to help elementary students learn to read? Scroll to the top of page and click 'DONATE'. Thank YOU for joining us in the Fight for Literacy.
