Wichita State Shockers are teaming up with Champions for Literacy and International Paper to support United Way’s childhood literacy efforts.
All money raised will fund literacy programs, provide reading resources, and prevent summer learning loss for students in the Shocker Neighborhood! Donate Here!

- 77% of Wichita third graders were not reading proficiently in 2023
- Illiterate kids grow into illiterate adults – and 43% live in poverty compared to 4% of literate adults.
