Keeping Kids On Course

First Tee – Greater Charleston teaches interpersonal skills and life-enhancing values to more than 19,000 young people each year through the game of golf. Your support helps us impact local youth by sponsoring character development programs and transportation initiatives. Funds raised at this year's event will be used to purchase a NEW bus (our third vehicle) and cover additional program expenses.

Over the past five years, Golfathon supporters like you have raised more than $600,000 to Keep Kids On Course. Your dollars have increased golf course access, provided transportation, and enriched the lives of young people by funding educational programs that develop interpersonal skills and build character.

Your support has and continues to play a vital role in On-Course, Community, and Immersion Program experiences, where kids from different neighborhoods and socio-economic backgrounds come together to learn with and from one another. Golfathon helps fund those programs. It also fuels the transportation needed to make programming possible for children who live furthest from the golf course.

This year, with your help, we will raise $150,000 to purchase a NEW bus to transport inner city school groups and Immersion Program participants to enrichment activities. Proceeds will also help us maintain FREE program access for families in need.

Thank you for your support. It is making a real difference in the lives of local young people. Together, we can Keep Kids On Course!
