What is the First Tee – Jersey Shore Game Changer Charity Challenge?
On Wednesday, August 10, 2022 First Tee – Jersey Shore is holding a charity challenge for participants, coaches and volunteers to raise money to support First Tee programs for local kids and families.
Each golfer commits to playing for the afternoon in a series of fun golf challenges. Your gift or pledge will support First Tee - Jersey Shore’s impactful Fairways for All programming.
Fairways for All programs focus on bringing First Tee to kids and families underserved in the game of golf such as:
Ethnic and racial Minorities | LGBTQ+ kids and families | Females | Children with special needs | Families facing financial challenges

Who is First Tee – Jersey Shore?
First Tee – Jersey Shore believes in developing golf and life experiences that are just as fun as they are meaningful, where kids feel excited to grow, safe to fail, and better equipped for whatever comes their way.
Character is learned, cultivated and shaped by our experiences. In a today’s world where social pressures are always on, where calm and confidence are hard to access, and where perseverance is a required superpower, our kids are growing in new environments that are demanding more from them, and therefore more from us to support them.
First Tee does important community work introducing kids to the great game of golf while building experiences that build character to empower kids through a lifetime of unprecedented new challenges and continuous personal growth.
⛳ What is Fairways for All?
Fairways for All is a focused effort to increase and encourage diversity & inclusion of kids and families who are underrepresented in the sport of golf. These populations are defined as: racial & ethnic minorities, females, children with special needs, LBGTQ kids and families, and families facing financial hardships. Donations help provide direct need transportation, program “golferships”, and program delivery & expansion.
